Fusion Design began as Fusion Printing and Design, initially focusing on graphic design and print production. By 2010, website design, development, and ongoing technical support had become the heart of the business. As technology has evolved, so have we—expanding into custom applications, automation, AI-assisted development, and increasingly complex digital solutions.

Kris Tonski is the founder and creative technologist behind Fusion Design, a creative technology studio she established in 2009. With expertise spanning graphic design, web and application development, SEO, digital marketing, and emerging technologies, Kris combines creative vision with technical problem-solving to help businesses and organizations build stronger, more effective digital experiences.

Beyond her work at Fusion Design, Kris has shared her expertise as a digital media and web design instructor at Gateway Community College in New Haven, CT, teaching courses in Adobe Creative Cloud, web development, WordPress, and digital design. She has also been an active member of the WordPress development community, attending and volunteering at WordCamp conferences throughout the Northeast and in Washington, DC.
With a passion for both creativity and technology, Kris specializes in bringing complex digital projects to life. Her expertise includes information architecture, search engine optimization (SEO), custom website development, AI-assisted applications, and technical integrations. She approaches every project with a focus on usability, performance, and helping businesses turn their digital presence into measurable results.
